Emma Tanner

I’m the founder and CEO of The Princess Project, a Christian, wife, mum of two daughters, and an author and speaker.

This hasn’t always been my story. I graduated from Cambridge University Veterinary School in 2001 convinced that I was embarking on my life’s vocation in looking after people’s precious pets, but I was wrong. God had other ideas.

I’ve written about the epic journey God has taken me on in my first book, Daughters of the King: The Princess Project Story, which is being published by Authentic Media in 2026. I really hope that this tale of the goodness and faithfulness of God will encourage readers to take their own small step of obedience into whatever God is calling them to do.

I live in the beautiful Kent countryside and like nothing more than growing fruit, veg and flowers in my garden and allotment, and pottering in my kitchen making stuff out of what I’ve grown. I love watching the birds in my garden, am a cat person, and have a fondness for Pembrokeshire puffins that I am told is a borderline obsession.
